Gift Lists

At Town & Country Hardware Online we operate a fully functioning gift list facility. Customers can create a gift list of products they want (perfect for birthdays, weddings etc.), and share their account with friends and family.

To set up a gift list, simply navigate around the shop, adding products to your basket. When happy with the contents, click on to the 'Create Gift List' link on the left hand section of the shop.

At this stage choose a private and a public password. The public password can be emailed to friends and family, enabling them to see the gift list when they visit the site. The private password is used only by the creator to edit the list.

When an item is ordered from the gift list it is sent to the address of the friend or family member who ordered it, so that they can wrap it ready for presenting the gift. As soon as the item is purchased it is removed from the list, preventing any duplicate orders.
