A good quality traditional ceiling airer with white cast iron ends and wooden rails.
Maximum length 1.8 metres (6 FT.) but it can be cut shorter to suit the application.
Easy to Assemble and supplied with 2 rack ends,2 pulleys,4 wooden rails,1 cleat hook,pulley line,screws and wall plugs.

Ceiling Airers have been in use in Great Britain since Victorian times. Advantages are mainly space saving, occupying an otherwise under utilised space, but they also make use of the warm air rising in the room which helps the drying proceess. You can use a ceiling airer for drying laundry and herbs or as an attractive hanger for saucepans and kitchen utensils.
